... with the depiction of a dog, a cat, a cow, and a parrot in BDSM attire aims to highlight the fact that, unlike humans, animals cannot give their consent to abusive treatment. They are vulnerable and defenseless, which is why it is all the more important that we have animal-friendly laws and that they are enforced consistently. Library - Online Database The database of the TIR library contains about 24'000 books, essays, and movies on the animal within the law, ethics, and society. All listed works are also physically available at TIR's office. The TIR library is a reference library. Copying facilities are available. Opening hours: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. till 12 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. till 5:30 p.m. (or upon request).
