Our legal advice service is one of the most important and frequently used services offered by TIR. We provide information to people seeking advice on animal-related legal issues, including issues such as cruelty to animals, keeping dogs and dogs classified as dangerous, general animal husbandry issues, liability and insurance questions, purchase and donation of animals, animals in tenancy law and neighbor law, animals at work, legal relationship with veterinarians, abandoned, lost and/or found animals and legal relationship with animal shelters, animals in divorce and inheritance cases, import and transport of animals, traffic accidents with animals, wild animals and exotic animals, death of a pet, etc.

It is important to note that TIR can only address questions regarding Swiss law.
