Moby donates tour proceeds to animal rights organisations
After more than a decade, the world-famous musician and animal rights activist Moby has returned to the stage. He is donating all the proceeds from his European tour to animal rights organisations. The Foundation for the Animal in the Law (TIR) is delighted to have also been considered.

Moby, whose real name is Richard Melville Hall, is a key figure in the electronic music scene and one of the most influential voices of his generation. He celebrated his breakthrough in the 90s with the album ‘Play’, which is considered a milestone in music history and the most successful electronica album of all times. Moby is not only known for his music, but also for his commitment to animal welfare. As a convinced vegan, he has been actively campaigning for animal rights for many years.
On 25 September, Moby celebrated the end of his European tour at the Vaudoise Aréna in Lausanne. He donated all the proceeds from the concerts to organisations that campaign for animal rights. We are incredibly happy and grateful that the Foundation for the Animals in the Law (TIR) was also included.
We were also very happy to accept his invitation to draw the attention of concert visitors to our animal welfare work at our own TIR stand. Another highlight for us was, of course, that Moby mentioned us by name during the concert and our campaign pictures appeared repeatedly on the screens next to the stage in front of an audience of almost 12,000 people.
We would like to thank Moby from the bottom of our hearts for his incredible support, his generosity, a fantastic concert and an unforgettable evening in the name of animal rights.
